Question about my AD

A question..
I live in Florida and I got an Candy Pink OP for my wife in september, and a month ago a Tiffany OP.
But Celebration dial was a big no, as my spending of 90k was too little and they went to the top spenders it was told.
Am I a good customer at least or not and is my AD at trying to keep me happy?
I'm getting confused as people say Tiffany is behind celebration dial at the level of scoring

Certainly the Tiffany dial is a hot one; as for spending $90,000 to move up, well, you could have purchased any number of fine watches for that, just by going grey.

I assume you have purchased watches and whatever else because you wanted to and not because you were trying to increase your spend to be able to get other watches? Sometimes you can’t get everything at the time you want it. Sounds like your wife has a few great watches. Hope she enjoys them.

So they straight up told you that your spending history of 90k was too little? God this is so depressing. I don't know how some of you do it. Personally I couldnt subject myself to that nonsense with any AD. With a 90k spend, you could have bought the OP in question and skip all the BS.

Both the ADs I work with said the Celebration dials have not been coming in. I am not interested in it I was just lamenting that the 2023 releases are not available. Interesting one said yes that they have seen lots of Daytonas. He did not offer me one!

Congrats on getting the Tiffany and the pink dial OP so fast. Yes, the Celebration in general may be more challenging plus you did get two OPs recently. Perhaps three OPs in about six months is also a factor. Two is quite nice of them imho.

Allocations are so dealer specific; it is hard to make generalizations about what is a big spender or the process. So many times, allocations are just made on the spur of the moment to close some combined purchase or to sell the watch to someone who clicked with the AD as a famous person or potential future big customer. It may or may not be fair or orderly.

At least they are honest with you.

The OP Celebration sells for around $10k over list.

Maybe the only other two watches that can sell for that much over list right now is the Daytona stainless and the GMT pepsi.

It is a rare watch, so chances are, they are not getting many in.

$90k spend is a lot, but maybe the sales assistant knows that there are multiple other clients at your AD with higher spends, that are also waiting on that same watch. Maybe they were not lucky enough to get the Pink and Blue OPs like you did.

Who knows? All these ADs work in different ways, but at least your was honest about spend.

Getting the pink and tiffany is already very nice, I tried both but no succes.
If you really want it you can have it tomorrow buying elsewhere

this could be a last gasp. supply is loosening up
i would prefer to go to 3 dealers for 3 watches each then one dealer for 9
for me, its not the relationship, its the customer service
also working with multiple dealers means 3x the stock potentional

The Celebration dial especially in 41mm is very rare. Its rarity is only exceeded by its beauty.

Keep trying and one day you may be able to acquire it at MSRP.
