Strap change tool broken
Hi,
I recently picked up a PAM915 and have absolutely loved the watch. The last time I tried to change my strap however, the strap tool completely broke and I was unable to change straps. I purchased the said watch new from my local AD, who has now agreed to replace the tool. Just wanted to check if any others have experienced the same. Found it a bit odd that this would happen within 3 months of ownership and I’ve maybe changed straps thrice! Maybe just Italian things? |

No big deal, you are simply missing the tiny screw that keeps the attachment on. You can find those at a specialty screw store.

Look around the bench/desk/table where you experienced the failure of the screwdriver. That's where you might find the screw that fell out of the handle (the one missing in your photo).
If it isn't found visually, try running a magnet around the flooring under that piece of furniture. Last thing, try looking in the box/sleeve/pouch where you stored that screwdriver. Good luck - the superfine threads and pitch on that screw could make a replacement harder to find at a shop than finding the original one you lost. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Yes mine fell out as well although it was many years after purchase, as above you need to secure it back in place with the tiny screw if you still have it. Or you could glue it I suppose.

Yes, lost that tiny screw rather quickly. Bought a new set of aftermarket tools, no problems whatsoever. Got two, just in case. :)

Thanks everyone for the advice. Knowing about the missing screw will help me the next time, if I encounter the same issue. The AD did replace it for what it’s worth but funnily, I have learnt more about the issue on this forum than the sales guy at the AD.
Also, the PAM is doing great and loving every single day of wearing it. |
