How to build a relationship with Rolex AD?
I think the first time John and I walked into my AD in June, 2022, he was dressed to the nines, having come from a job, and I was dressed very casually. We went in just to browse. We were treated very well. Both of us are outgoing and friendly, by nature. I asked to be put on the list for an OP. John gave our SA his business card. We would stop in about every 2 months, just to chat, and so I could try on exhibition watches. I would occasionally text my Sales Associate. We did buy a solid gold miraculous medal, at Christmas time, and my diamond engagement ring in February, and then our wedding rings. We got the call for the watch in exactly a year. We’ve bought several watches since, the latest DJ, as a walk in, when the intended customer refused it, at the last minute. Total non-watch jewelry spend wasn’t much, maybe $6,000. We did not buy anything we did not already need, or want, and prices were reasonable. I think we were pretty lucky. So, just be yourself, and tell your Sales Associate what you want. Keeping in touch is what worked for me.
