15510ST vs 15550ST
Hello everyone,
I am on a waiting list for a 15510ST and have been on it for a while now and as much as I am excited, lurking on the forums and Youtube are giving me second thoughts on the size. I like bigger watches but I am not sure I can pull it off. Trying on a couple of friends' watches (all 41mm) below for reference. What do you think? Proceed or call the AD and get a 15550ST instead? I heard the 37mm RO wears similar to a 41mm sub, which is a perfect fit for me. The 39mm Jumbo is probably my sweet spot but unfortunately not an option. |

All your photos look to have been taken very close to your wrist/the watches which can make the watches appear much bigger than how they would normally appear.
How large is your wrist? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You should take pictures from a bit farther away to get a better impression, and your friend should take the bezel protector off the 15407.

15550 all the way for me. Many people wear 15500/15510 and should have gone for the 37mm one.

41mm looks fine on you, 37 would be too small in my opinion.

I wish it was a bezel protector, it’s one of those clear sticker protection all over. No judgement from my end, it IS an expensive watch, one I can’t afford. But I’d rather beat up something I can afford than put stickers on it. I do wear cases on my phone though |

I was hoping to hear that to be honest. I called the AD today and when they called me back I told them I was just checking in. It seems I will receive the watch sometime this year, 15510ST black and I didn’t ask to change it. |

there 37mm wears like a steel daytona (116500 not 126500), which wears like a 39mm rolex and is smaller than a dj41. it's not gonna be close to the sub. i think the 38mm chrono would be closer to a sub

I think 41 fits you fine. The 3rd from last pic (One that’s a bit further away) sold me. It’s often misleading to take close-up wrist shots.
Is this your first AP? Curious what the story is here since it sounds like you’ve been “pre allocated” already

At this particular AD, I had previously put my name on for a ROO (they wouldn't accept any orders for Royal Oaks). Checked in multiple times without any luck. Eventually, they offered me a RO 33mm quartz and it was perfect for my wife. Bought it and then after multiple visits and follow ups, I was promised a RO 41mm. Of course nothing guaranteed but I am optimistic. I was encouraged to buy an Off Shore or Code but I am not buying anything I wouldn't keep/wear. |

The modern 41mm version 15510 or the previous 15500 version — as long as you like the dial and how it fits your wrist.
I have a small wrist but I went for the bigger size because of my personal preference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

15510ST vs 15550ST
Here’s mine from the previous version with the AP logo at 41mm. A limited run of 3 years from 2019-2022 with shorter hour indices and minute tracker separate and from outside the dial. Perhaps the last one with the AP logo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
