Tudor Integrale/Ranger 38mm Guide - Circa 1974-80

As these are now becoming a bit valuable (with the Ranger 2 'orange hand' going for £6000 in some dealers), and a few dial repaints turning up as such, I'm doing a full guide to these watches, and I'll publish here and on vrf.

A bit of prelim' photo's and stuff here:

https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/vint...0-t274426.html

Still searching out bits of info/photos of a few for the guide.

Does anyone have a steel silver and red, silver and green or silver and blue bullseye (dial is like the bi-colour Burgundy/Gold one in one of the the boxes in my link) ?

Also any Black or Blue RANGER Orange hands please.

Finally, if anyone has ANY 9101/9111/9121/9130/9140 38mm Integrales.

Two Questions please:

1) Does the clasp have a date/letter code on it on not.

2) Are the model number and serial number on the two jutting out parts of midcase where it meets bracelet in the same direction eg both North facing or is say one North facing one South facing (i.e. opposite direction)

Yeah you did, but not the Ranger 2 Orange hand they were c $1300!!

Mind you, in 1981 after selling my Yamaha RD400f for £795.... and feeling a bit flush I went to see my A.D. Upchurch in Colchester UK.

In the window he had a 1655 at list £397, but with an unheard of 40% off.

I walked in said 'what's with the discount on the watch ? You hardly ever discount Rolex !'

He then went on to bemoan he had 4 in stock which he'd had for 4 or 5 years and nobody wants them since they came out a decade ago.

Anyway, to cut to chase, I liked it very much (quirky i love), and twisted his arm to sell me two on a buy-one-get-one-free deal. :-)

I'm sure he was more delighted than me with the deal ( to halve his stock ) I suspect.

I gifted one to a pal for his 21st. They were 7 no's apart on serial number....both of us still have them.

Fast forward on a decade to 1991 they were still very unloved.

This was apparent as many dealers/buyers in Newspapers /Magazines ads saying 'We buy Rolex - No Explorer 2 or Daytonas though please' ! Crazy Days !!!

In the last 30 yrs however of course it's gone from unloved ugly duckling to highly sought after...

Now of course I don't think the Integrales will mirror that, but it's getting recognition at last and I personally love them for the 3D dial effect, 38 mm heft, scalopped bracelet and dare I say it again - quirkiness !

My silver dial 9101/0 has:
1) no date/letter code on the clasp of the 9585 bracelet.
2) model number and serial number (857XXX) in opposite direction, both facing outwards.

Thanks. Yes blades as I'd expect.

I have a couple that have clasp codes but I suspect service blades/clasp.

Both outward is the norm but occasionally they had then both facing north.

Thanks again Herman for your input, appreciated greatly.

Thanks Mineral appreciated - normal combo - ps love the blue dialed 9111/0, the 3D blue 2 piece (inner 60° bezel and sunburst blue dial ) look fab, and is often my daily if in town or or holiday.

There is a letter in the clasp... I'll have to find my loop... I'm blind.

Lovely thanks Mr.S, might be a B (1977) perhaps, especially if it is between serial numbers 850,000 to 895,000.
