I graduated in 2004, I was a student when we won in 2002, and I have been to 4 out of the 5 National Championships we've played in. I only missed the Covid year. I have a lot to be proud of regardless of what happens next year.

Incentivized to come back, yes, but the Buckeyes have spent over 13 million this year alone, just to win a national championship. And if they do, what does it mean? This is part of a larger discussion that we might actually see eye to eye on about what has become of college football. I’m all for compensation of athletes, but it has gotten out of hand very quickly and larger, more established programs (OSU, A & M) are using smaller programs as their farm clubs instead of developing three and four star athletes into five stars.

Regardless, I am not being naive, but all teams steal signs, whether in-game or on film. I agree in-game sign stealing is illegal, but I’m not sure you understand the reason… it is because smaller programs cannot afford to do it. The NCAA was trying to level the playing field. You should read about this.

Furthermore, there is NO evidence that the info that Stallions collected was ever passed on to any Michigan coach. This has never been demonstrated. He was pretty crazy and if you want proof, just read his 500 page manifesto.

I realize the Buckeyes nation already convicted Michigan on day one, and it is a convenient excuse for losing three years in a row. I’ve been to Columbus—the hate is palpable and not like anything I’ve ever seen in college football. It’s not even fun. It’s supposed to be a good time.

I hope we can all just appreciate the rivalry and be good winners and losers. The pendulum always swings the other way eventually.

No evidence? Are you serious? What about the countless videos and pictures that I've seen of Stalions holding laminated sheets where you can clearly see that they are hand signals? Pictures of Stalions with those sheets in the ears of Harbagh and both offensive and defensive coordinators?
