7206 bracelet

Hi all,

Hoping to purchase this bracelet locally. I know the condition leaves a lot to be desired but I think it would fit in with the character of my watch.

Could I please get some opinions on its authenticity.

Cheers.

Looks like a decent 7206 to me! 58 ends fit earlier GMT’s. Is your watch close to early-mid 1966?

.
Is this a crack? Just something to consider with the price, if it is. It can be welded.

I think this bracelet was cobbled together. Clasp looks authentic.

I do not like the sections nor the 58 ELs (backwards 8).. I would wait for others to chime in.

Be careful.

What price is it offered at?

Here is a good write up:

When I first looked through the photos, the engraving on the end-links also caught my eye, TBH. I'd advise the OP to do more research to confirm whether that was a legit style.

I haven't seen that 58 engraving before. It does appear different when compared to other 58 end links that I am familiar with.

I would say that the bracelet and clasp are fine, and the crack will likely not cause and issue, and as others have said, can easily be fixed. Endlinks are likely aftermarket, so factor that in with the price you pay. Apart from the 8 others have pointed out, the engravings on the endlinks also look way too sharp, at least compared to my 9315 bracelet and the 7205 on my wives 69 Airking.
