Info about Tudor Big Block 79160
Hi, what do you think about this Big Block (Serial B63****)?
Dial and Bezel are ok? What is the real market value (only watch)? Thanks to all in advance :) |

Quick peruse only...
Looks ok. This is a later one with following differences. *No chamfered HR markers * No date window frame* T Swiss made T instead of T swiss T * 78360 round topped 3 on last link sometimes found. The big blocks are totally skewed by the amazing prices offered in Japan. I can't think of any other Tudor other than the 79090 that is so cheap in Japan compared to elsewhere. The rest of the world is (79)160 : loose £6k, with B and P circa £7.5k, and a bit more for '170 and bit less for '180. In Japan a loose watch 79160/70/80 start from £3.5k and £4k for a b anf p. Even with 20% vat into UK they are cheap.

Agree w/ Paul on the Big Block "era" of this example. Per the pics, I don't see any red flags. Can't comment on the value as I haven't owned or reviewed their prices in a long time.

Those are great chronographs. I've owned a few in the past and had a twin to the one posted here.
