Hello from Bermuda!

The wife and I are here for a few days, celebrating my b’day.
Walked into Crisson Jewlers today in Hamilton.
They had the usual exhibition pieces in the window and display. I was surprised that the Rolex section was not set up as a “boutique” as Rolex is requiring of their AD’s.

I came in, told them it was my b’day, which it is and wanted to buy a special watch for my b’day. Told him I wanted the GMT Pepsi, of course not in stock or exhibition. SA was extremely pleasant, put me on his list. Told him I would fly back to Bermuda to pick up watch should he call me.

What I was surprised is that he did offer me some other pieces, I really half listened but they were all PM pieces. So maybe things are loosening up a little.

Bet bundled with PM, that Pepsi would suddenly appear.

It would seem the pm’s are harder to sell so no surprises with them offering you several. But it’s still nice to see something being offered as a walk in

Doubt it. Pepsis take more than just one PM. 2+PMs and a few other watches then maybe.

Not 100% sure, they offered me from Exhibition a solid gold DD and a solid gold GMT, I suspect there are others. They had 2 Sub LV’s, one in the window and one in the inside display, thought that was odd, I told the SA I had that watch, so was not offered.

I got a sense they were really looking for business because we were the only ones in the store, 4pm on Friday. As soon as we walked in the door out came the water bottles.

Come on, Bill. You can't start a thread titled 'Hello From Bermuda' without a few scenic pics, lol. Just kidding (mostly). Btw, I hope you get the Pepsi!
