Question about pins
I just bought a 2000 model SS Submariner with date. Bought it from a reputable estate jeweler in Bellevue (Seattle area). I notice in the pictures that some of the cases for model have holes in the sides for pins to hold on the bracelet. Others are smooth. Is this different for different years?
Asking because I saw on some website that all Rolex's only use screws, and not pins. Thanks. |

The Screws Vs. Pins applies to the removable bracelet links. The bracelets are all held to the watch case using spring bars. Older Models have lug holes, newer ones do not.
