I keep getting messages like this
I keep getting this and of message:
"Hello, I am new here and about to make my first purchase for a Rolex watch from a member on the forum and you have been selected as one of his references which is why I am writing you. So I was curious and thought it would be worth the due diligence. Here is the link to his post 🌎 Thanks for your time." I have been "selected" but have not purchased from them. It asks me to click a link to see the original listing which I don't do. I have received about 4 of these from different "new users" |

I got one today too. Got one last Sat., but just the email notification. It wasn't showing in my PMs when I got back onto my laptop. Got one like that about a year ago too.

When you click on the listing link it’ll take you to a fake Rolex Forums login page, hoping that you then put in your username and password.
Then they can log in to your account, change the password to lock you out and use your name and history on the forum to scam others. Just don’t do it.

Whether it's a PM or an email from a new TRF scammer, don't click those links.
Malware can be inserted as the cloned webpage you land upon displays its content. But you can easily report these members safely using the tools in the forum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Use the triangular ! tool in the upper right-hand corner of the message. (Sample from my own inbox - not a spammer just an illustration.) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

As crazy as this sounds … maybe there should be a prominent sticky thread on how to report things to the moderators. |

I have received a few messages but I don't click. I don't trust online links asking me to click except I already know where the link leads to.
