Daytona pushers and water question
Hi Guys,
when the Daytona pushers are in the open position, are they water resistant? I probably washed my hands and remember last week did a quick cleaning with water, without noticing until today one of the pushers not fully closed, I tighten the pusher, just curious TIA |

Yes, totally WR to 100M+. Pushers open or screwed down has nothing to do with WR.

I would still keep them screwed in washing or submerging in water - you never know.

My understanding is for the pushers screwed in or not WR is still the same... However when they are screwed in it prevents accidentally activating the pusher while submerged in which then there could be an issue????

Common sense dictates keeping them closed, unless using them. It’s not rocket science. Why take any chances?

The pushers have gaskets like Larry (Tools) said. They are protected about the same as a twin lock crown (2 o-rings) The crown is a Triplock of course. The reason Rolex gives for screwing down the crowns and pushers is to avoid pushing them in and releasing while under water. A repetitive motion like that movement while under water could defeat the seal by mechanical friction. You have nothing to worry about unless your gaskets are perished.
