Hey guys, got this 15300 pretty used. F serial. Running +7,8. Just noticed the odd color on one of the wheels in the movement. Its more vrass colored than other parts. Dont know the service history as well. Can someone point out if everything is ok, or advice how should i proceed?

From images I see of caliber 3120, the difference in the golden hue between the gold rotor and the gear you are pointing out, correspond to the appearance of your watch. Looks OK to me. When you’ll eventually send it in for service at APSC, they would identify any components that are not original. But I’d say your movement is OK.

Hello fellow watch enthusiasts,
A couple of years ago, AP boutiques seemed to be okay with their customers buying in-catalogue watches from the grey market (as it was so hard to get something from retail, and you had to pay a meaningful premium).

What about now? Is it "frowned upon" by the boutiques/HQ, especially for Code/ROO models that are being traded with a discount vs MSRP?
Asking for a friend who does not want to hurt his chances to get a 15407st from retail in the near future..
