New AP QP all yellow gold drop

Wow I have the OG 39mm Ref 25654BA version and love the 39mm size and ultra thin case. This is the new 41mm open case back version and I love tha ll yellow gold with the champagne dial

Well done AP on this but for the 150th please make some 39mm versions

What’s everyone’s thoughts on this beauty?

Will see it this week. Since it is a HK/China piece allocations should be a little less painful than normal for good customers based in HK.

What are the two mini circles for under the day and month?

Saw some videos online seems like the tone of the gold is a bit more muted like VC’s 222 which is really nice

Day night and leap year indicators...

With the thickness or lack of it and 41mm size I find proportions of this watch a little weird... love more 39mm and even the standard 41mm. From wearability point of view of course, watchmaking is incredible in this one...

So after RD2 if I am right this is 5 take on this ultra thin model? The pt ti, ti, Luminary, ME edition and this China one...

Totally agree with you. I'm not a fan of the ultra thin 41mms for AP.

Not a yellow gold fan generally but will reserve judgement until I have seen it.

Understood and, like you, I also favour Rose and then White Gold to Yellow.

Ohh dear.....this is such a gorgeous piece.
I recall Michael Friedman used to wear and still currently Olivier Audemars wears RD2.
