I wanna buy one and determine how hard it is to find and which of the two dial options is more versatile.

No PM Daytona is hard to find. They are available at ADs or with a short wait.
Black dial will have more contrast with yellow gold

I like the white dial as it is color neutral and I have so many black dial watches.

Well don't you buy the watch and dial colour you want to own and wear,or do you buy on what is perceived as like you put more versatile.

Who cares? Do you buy based solely on "rare and hard to find?"

If you start looking for both you will be able to determine which one is easier to find.
