SwissPrestige.net

OK, I stumbled across this site and judging from their prices, there's no way they can be legit.....

Check 'em out

They sit just outside the law With hosting that is hard to kill and photos stolen from TopNotch-Watch.

Very hard to take this sort of scam out of the picture, all hosted in parts of the world where the rules just don't apply

We have nearly 28,000 members here that have most probably looked at this thread and others like it, thats a drop in the ocean compared to outside this forum, so I'd say the probability of these scammers stealing hard earned cash from unprotected buyers if inevitable :-(

The only thing we can do is keep everyone here informed and hope word leaks out.

I personally know people that have been stung by this sort of site, some have managed to reverse transactions, others not so lucky

Just a part of life we have to endure, I nearly got caught out late last year on eBay, luckily I arranged to meet the seller who was local and thats where I made the discovery that what was pictured is not what was on offer, that was sorted nice and quick!

True - I've been scammed before and would do anything I can to help others NOT become victims. It's a horrible feeling.

It goes both ways too, I've seen a number of members here scammed out of watches they had up for sale, just to find funds reversed and no watch or cash and any recourse to get either back, there are too many people out there that just don't believe in hard work and earning something the decent way.

I was scammed as a seller! You think you're safe because you're holding the goods, but you're just as vulnerable unfortunately.

I am new to the forum, is there a website that anyone recommends with confidence that it is not a scam?

Hi Johnny, Welcome to TRF

I would be more inclined to point you to our for sale section here on TRF, have a read of the rules then when you are ready pop in a WTB (wanted to buy) and see what heads your way :-)

Dave.
