I've noticed PAM wearers are more discerning WIS types in general. Not taking anything away from my Rolex bretheren, but a lot more people wear Rolexes who have no passion for the brand unlike PAM owners who generally know exactly why they're wearing Panerais.

That said, I'm still sticking to my oysters.

Hi Mate.. yes, there a are a lot who do.. i live in QATAR and i know what do you mean, they are not giving any discounts. Im got my first pannie at the age of 27 2 years ago (and wants to buy more) ....the best thing with a pannie as compared to a typical luxury watch is that its so easy to change the straps and is readily available in the market.

and a wide selection too

Change the strap of a pannie......Boom! You got yourself a new pannie!

I'm in my late 20 and just picked up a PAM 312. I love the versatility of being able to change the strap for a different look. What Carlo said :)

Actually Panerais are considered by many yung n old the timepiece to be seen in irrespective of age...

I find Panerai's design to be more catered for the younger generations, and Rolex for the older..

Don't get a Panerai... Rolex is much better... plus if you ever need to sell your watch for cash... trying selling a Panerai in a secondary market... its tough.
