Bezel Insert GMT 11
Can anyone please tell me the serial prefix letter of the model when Rolex introduced the "pepsi" red/blue bezel to the GMT 11.
My understanding is the GMT 11 was originally released with only the "coke" red/black insert. Not sure about the black only bezel either. thanks |

1. 1983~1989 Ref 16760 GMT Master II had ONLY Coke Bezel Insert from factory... 2. 1989~2007 Ref 16710 GMT Master II has 3 Bezel Insert options from factory... Pepsi~Black~Coke...perhaps not in any particular order...as these bezel inserts are interchangeable... 3. 1989~1999 Ref 16700 GMT Master has only Pepsi Bezel Insert from factory...but still interchangeable with All Black n Coke... Hopes the above helps... |

The all black bezel was introduced in about 1972... It was available for the GMT Master until it was discontinued in 1999..
