I suppose this is a prank -- if you're on this board you probably know the answer to your question. However, you can still get a decent watch for several hundred bucks. If you review items sold on Time Zone you will see that there are quite a few mechanical/automatic time pieces for around $200. Hamilton Khaki line is pretty decent and it is affordable. You can get some Hamilton watches with Valjoux 7750 for under $500.
As for my watches... - First watch I remember paying for was around $20. - My first watch in college was $80. - Then I spent $200/watch on various Casio models. - Then I got a Panerai... For me life has never been about quantity and if I have to stick with my PAM 111 for the rest of my life then be it. It is a nice time piece. |
