1970 rolex 16014 crystal change from acrylic to sapphire?
Hey all, this has probably been asked before but i couldnt find a similar thread when i searched.
So my question. Is it possible to swap acrylic for sapphire on my 1970 DJ 16014? Would the watch maintain water resistance? thanks. sorry again if this has been posted before.... |

I'm pretty sure they cannot be interchanged, as the case is different for each and cannot use a different type.

Could a custom made sapphire crystal be made in place of an older acrylic crystal?
