My new WG Submariner with my 15 years YG Sub.

That yg used to be my favorite back then, now i'm not so hot about the dial with diamond, i guess we change...

Nice brace.
I hope the yg crown doesn't scratch the wg case there.
Having the two cases side by side there like that on your wrist you can certainly see the new blockier case of the wg.

The WG is the Way to Go. A little subdued without the diamonds, but the blue stands out. Very nice!

A beautiful pair. I especially like the WG's dial - it really pops

Cheers

As I have stated before in other threads, If I was to make the purchase, I don't know if I could spend all that money on white gold as it reminds me so much of SS. That said, there is no doubt that the WG/Blue sub has much wrist presence. The "family Jewels" look great together and there is a rather great resemblence between the two so much in fact that most people would have no idea which is old and which is new. I have fallen hard for my SS GMT. My wedding ring is YG/WG so really , there would really be no problem with a WG sub for me (except for the cost). You may even be safer in this crazy world because it does not say "hey I'm gold" like YG does.

I do find the wrist wear with my GMT to be greater and more satisfying than my F series sub. I like the feel of the GMT band /clasp better. Maybe the overall look, I am not sure.

Lastly, I have the slate serti dial on my sub. Even though it is still sold today, I sometimes feel it is an older Rolex look yest a classy look. You could always have the dial changed on the YG model or add a flashy diamond bezel. That might hekp renew your old sub luv!

ACK WG is growing on me. This could be bad!

Hmm a WG Sub...with BLACK ceramic bezel / supercase etc. might be cool - if Rolex ever releases one.
