Lights Are Up
Usually on Dec 1, Mrs Mini & Mini Mini, put up the christmas tree, while I head outside to put up the outside lights.
Well, this year, Mother Nature played a trick on us, and buried us under about 16 inches of snow That is very unusual around here. Well today, the sun broke out and was a balmy +8. So I took the afternoon off work & set up the outdoor lights Still daylight out, so no pictures. Will try tonight. But one of my winter chores is now done. Only 5 days late Thanks to Craig's post, It got me off my arse and outside for a bit. Felt good to be outside in a T-Shirt, sun shining and the best part, I skipped work to get this done.

Trust me Craig, I'd rather do lights than the last two days I've had at the office.
A few years ago, I spent the time & drilled & installed nice "cup Hooks". Now I can get the lights up in around an hour and a bit & down much quicker.

Yeah, without the blow up dolls, you'll have no place to put the Yule Log

Here we go, nothing too special on the lights, but I do the back fence & gazebo
And the front. We have those LED. Not too bright until we turn the house lights off. A few lawn things to put up still.

Looking good John but a few blow up dolls would get the party going.

Looking good indeed. Hey, is your garage out back? Like into a laneway?

No garage???? Really?
I wouldn't consider buying a house sans garage, but then again, you don't get the snow and freezing rain we get out here. One thing I hate is cleaning snow/ice off the car before I leave the house. |
