Don't know specifically about your area, but you should be able to get at least 10-25% on almost all models nationally. If they don't want to discount in your area simply go somewhere else where they do.

You get the best discounts at the AD you have bought from before.
You should develop a relationship with an AD just like you do with a doctor. You can then get spectacular deals......just my 2 cents... Every time I walk into my AD, the lady I deal with comes running and says "How can I help you today!" |

ADs I have been to really blow. Sales people don't last long enough to forge a relationship. Perhaps some smaller small town shops are best for this.

i think its more about the demand of the watch that sets the certain discount you get. I was offered 20% for the sub-date and exp II as well as the Milgauss black or white (No discount for the GV) and 18% for the Datejust II.

Plus, remember that the more gold that's present, the bigger the discount. SS models generally aren't discounted much.
If you want an Exp II, though, cruise the sale section here. They are going for absolutely killer deals these days on practically new watches! |

Sorry, you go to the wrong ADs, I know good sales people that have done it for years and know exactly what they are doing. Every place is different

My local AD only offered 9% off SS Sub when I asked. I was a new customer, but then again I only plan on ever buying just this one watch, so the relationship isn't important to me. I was able to get 20% at another AD with no tax without having to haggle.

I think about 20-25 can be had on a SS model but it can be tough. I as well do not know your area. Here in WI, I purchased a SS model earlier this year for 23% off (it was a Sub LV) and today I purchased a TT midsize for my wife for 30% off and NO TAX. It certainly can be done but this is all based on a relationship as well. I go to the same AD almost every time, I have two I have purchased from and deal only with the owner.
Good Luck, Adam

AD Discounts-Thanks for the Feedback
Thanks for the feedback. I'm thinking of buying from a contact I learned about on The Forum, DavidSW. It seems his rep is stellar from what I've seen here in The Forum.

20% is the new 10%! ;)
The Exp 2 depreciates like a Range Rover. You can pick up a LNIB recent model for less than any other SS sport Rolex. DavidSW has a great rep around these parts. Post some photos! |
