Icon20 Jubilee Madness

After seeing Keith's post of the GMT IIc on the Super Jubilee, I have actually lost my mind (really I cannot find it), trying to find out how to acquire this Super Jubilee is keeping me up at nights . Thanks to Keith and Rolex Forums for feeding the fire, I just have to have this bracelet to put on my GMT IIc. In my eyes one of the best looking combos in a long time, dont get me wrong, I still love the watch on the oyster too, but that Jubilee, oh that Jubilee just does something to it to dress it up a little. I have got to find a way to get a Super Jubilee. I have heard that in the US Rolex will simply not sell a bracelet unless replacing your original, however in Europe some seem to say that you can purchase separate bracelets, either way I am going to Puerto Rico in a few weeks (yes I know in US) and was wandering inf I might have any luck down there? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My wife would burry me in the back yard if I buy another Rolex but I think I can get away with a bracelet.

Hi John,

Welcome to TRF.

Can't say I blame you. I too am looking for the SS Super Jubilee to fit onto my new Exp-II.

I think the GMT-II on Jubilee actually looks far better than on the Oyster.

Our very own Dan Pierce has some stunning pics of his GMT-II on the Super Jubilee!!

Stop watching the watch porn. Too much looking at the GMT-C on super jubilee isn't healthy for your wallet.

John,
I completely understand. Once I found out the super jubilee would fit my GMT II [16710] I had to get one. Lucky for me I found one for sale on TRF.
You are correct about Rolex USA rules. Not sure about PR though. Guam is US territory but they still sell Tudor so ya' never know.
Best of luck in your search,
dP

You are correct JMed can't buy them from US ADs. some TRF sellers get them from time to time. However, I cannot locate one for use with my GMT ll Coke.

I may ping a friend in the UK to see if an AD will sell one...

At a loss otherwise. I would want a new one.

Search out a great deal on new style Datejust with the Super Jubilee bracelet.
You get the bracelet for your GMT2C and you give the Datejust on a nice leather strap to your wife for Christmas. I am planning to do this myself.

I'm From Puerto Rico... I suggest trying our AD's here like, Felix Bared on Plaza Las Americas and The Old San Juan, but I don't think u can buy it here. PR is a great place to buy a watch because of the huge discounts they give. Best Of Luck! You can Try also "Relojes y Relojes" In Plaza Las Americas too. There are at least 3 Felix Bareds To Choose from in Plaza Las Americas!

Does the new Jubilee go straight on the GMT 2c?

Hi. I checked with my AD in Leeds, UK today and was informed the new concealed clasp Jubilee bracelet will not fit the GMT 2c. Can someone confirm if it goes straight on and any issues as I too am VVV impressed with the combo of GMT2c and Jubilee (new version).

Cheers

Andy

A week or two ago we had a member show pics of his GMT IIc sporting a super jubilee. According to him there were no issues at all. I'll try to do a search.

Thanks JJ glad to be here, I saw your Exp II and that is what I would like to have for my next one, love the white face, I agree the Super Jubilee would look great on it.
