Stolen Photos
Compare these 3 listings
Seller piros1967 http://cgi.ebay.com/MEN-ROLEX-2TONE-...item3a554c5eb8 Seller magikal418 http://cgi.ebay.com/MEN-ROLEX-2TONE-...item19b823a244 Seller berkertime http://cgi.ebay.com/MEN-ROLEX-2TONE-...item5637755d61 Yes that's right, all three listings are using the same photos. I wish the scammers would stop pinching photos from beckertime, it make it too easy. |

I really ask myself, who would spend such a huge amount of money without seeing the watch in person ?

I'd go with beckertime to be the original pictures . What is +400 positive feedback worth nowadays on Ebay ? Probably a hijacked abandoned account , no sales last 90 days and now .... a Daytona ... what else ? ... yes SS maybe .

I'm pretty savvy when it comes to Ebay but there is NO WAY I'd ever buy a high-end Rolex from anyone there unless they are a KNOWN seller. The counterfeits are just too good and too numerous to take a chance.

Problem with these stolen photos is that the owner of the photos must report the guy. I know Beckertime is a member here and I hope he reads this forum because unless he reports the listing Ebay won't pull the listing.

I'll tell you buying from eBay is scary to say the least. I bought my Sub from a private seller and after I did I actually lost sleep. To top it off I had the watch shipped from the US to Spain! I had nightmares of some customs agent wearing my watch. I had the seller declare the watch for 300 USD to boot! I was lucky, crappy pics but I saw the seller had sold a couple of high end watches before and had a good feeling. Still the watch needed to be serviced but I'm one of the few who lucked out. BTW, the package was in fact opened by customs and I paid duty on only 300 USD. Never again!

Geez, one of 'em didn't just steal Becker's photos, he copied and pasted the whole description, right down to the ALL CAPS. The crooks aren't even trying anymore...

These guys are using stolen photos to scam people
but I've had a guy by the name of Danny Igal Lohar who tried to scam me using the pictures of my own watch that I've sold earlier.
---- My name is Danny Igal lohar, the box they I got for the zenith is the one I purchased from the original owner. In any case they are getting a very good price for it. My address is : 501 37th 5th ave. New York . ---- The above was one of his emails to me. His email address is : [email protected] The guy tried to sell a supposedly P series Daytona Zenith to me over the TZ site. He sent me pictures of a different watch. I asked for a current pictures of the correct watch (he claimed to have several). He must have googled the key words "P series Daytona" , down loaded some pictures from the web and fraudulently sent them to me. The funny thing was, those pictures were from my own P series Daytona that I sold here a month earlier. Only it was a 4130 P series and not a Zenith. |

Ebay
I have sold and bought on Ebay for a long time and I have no real bad experience. I did buy a Rolex part that was in the thousands, the seller lived in California and I picked it up from him face to face. His ad was on the money. You have to be careful when buying on Ebay.
I just had one dead beat buy something from me but never pay for it and I reported it to Ebay. And I always use Paypal on every transaction. |

I've been buying and selling on Ebay since 1998. "Let the buyers AND sellers beware." is all I can say.
