buying used rolex ??

I have the paperwork (box, certificate/warranty papers with original owner's name, business card from AD that sold it to him, from the GMT II that i bought from a local guy back in Sept.....

Do i need to call rolex and let them know i own it know? So they can update their system. Dont want to get send it in for service and its in the original owners name in their system and i won't be able to get it back. Thinking that its stolen...

No as original warranty is to original buyer only so any service after Rolex dont care who owns the watch.

You would have to keep it as is, you can not change the name however if you need to service it and it is still under warranty they will work on regardless how is the owner. it is by serial # not by owner... I could've paid for it and gift it away.

When you submit the watch for service (RSC) you'll get paperwork with your name on it.
