whats the difference between kinetic and automatic please???

kinetic has a rotor that moves to keep the battery for the quartz ebauche charged. Automatic has a rotor that keeps the mainspring wound and is 100% mechanical. A kinetic will tick one tick per second while an automatic will tick eight or so ticks per second, giving the illusion of a sweep motion.
