Seiko 5 TT

Just bought myself a NOS Seiko 5 with the 7009 movement with day date. Be getting it in 10 days.

Apparently, the 7009 movement preceded the 7S26 movement which now uses plastic date wheels. The 7009 used steel wheels.

I'll post pictures when I get it.

I am wearing my seiko 5 as I type this.
7s26 day-date, "jubilee" dial/bracelet

Its a great watch, +2 a day. Great value.

ok, its not... as the crown looks different.

I have been wondering, why can't I find any info about seiko 5 on seiko's site?
