What should I check ?

I've read some mixed reviews about INTERWATCHES , Miami . I'm interested in buying a 16750/Pepsi from them ,they say its a 8.19 mil serial # with matte dial circa 1984 , I will go next monday for a face to face transaction , what should I check or look for in order to know if I'm making a good purchase ? After about 1 week dealing with them by the phone and e-mail I got the price reduced 25% off advertised price , your advise is more than welcome,

Regrds,

Mix up

Just check the watch isn't a mix up watch, all original parts but not belonging to each other.

- Make sure the dial fits the serial of the case
- Make sure the hands their lume corresponds with the dial
- Endlinks fit the bracelet
- Caseback matches the case

Take a 10x loupe to check the dial.

Additionally make sure the stack is correct for a 16750, and check the hands closely. For what ever reason hands on the 16750 seemed to corrode more than others.

Good luck.
