citizen straps look great on sports models and they are uber strong

Yeah, and those Citizen rubber straps have stainless steel tubes reinforcing the ends where the springbar fits. This acts like the race on a bearing, given the special design of rolex springbars, whereby the weight of the bracelet is actually supported by the collar on the springbar, rather than the shaft. the combination of the steel tube in the strap, and the rolex springbar design, makes these straps incredibly strong and unlikely to accidentally extract the springbar, like in the case of a nato strap.
