Josh turned 1 year old yesterday!
Hard to believe......
I haven't been posting anywhere much lately. Tam and I have decided to move to UK, probably within the year. That has had me lost in thought. Then Rita came along and hit my family in Texas. Looks like my parents are coming to stay with us as they have no electricity and it could be 30 days before they get any. At least they have water now. My MIL is here already and will be for the next 3 weeks, so we'll have a full little house! We had Tam's other 2 boys all summer too. I do miss you guys. Cheers, Bruce |

Hi there Bruce.
Josh looks like you! What a handsome boy you got there! Baby size Panerai anyone??? I am sorry to hear about your folks. My wife's parents live in Beaumont TX and they were hit hard as well. Regardless of where you live, you are still a good guy Bruce! Chip

Hi Chip!
Thanks alot mate. My parents are in Wildwood (Village Mills). I want to say that's about 1 hour north of Beaumont. I guess your folks caught the brunt of it.
I was born in Beaumont, btw. The news coverage over the run up to the hurricane and afterward has to be the most times I've ever heard Beaumont mentioned. Not a good way to get name recognition! Cheers, Bruce |

Hey Bruceeeeeeeeeee,
So glad to see you here. Give that cute, chubby, squashable son of yours a big happy birthday hug and a kiss from his bald Uncle JJ Why don't you consider moving to NZ? We have no storms or hurricanes here!! Sorry to hear the sad plight of your family members. Trust everything will sort itself out in the end and all this will be just a distant memory. Cheers and good luck - JJ

Cheers, with Milk of course.

Hiya JJ!!
Awww...I just gave him a snug and a kiss from his balk kiwi uncle JJ :) I did think about NZ briefly. The landscape intrigues me, and considering I want to do photography it would be great. Only problem is, it's further from UK than the US is and the flights will be even more expensive!
My parents are OK. They just have a big tree on their house and no electricity. A lot of folks down there and in Louisiana have it a lot worse. Good to "see" ya JJ! Cheers, Bruce |

I understand completly, in fact I have been a ghost here too. Not only Dylan, but it just felt like I was spending too much time on these things. I know that I can manage my time better, I will be back on.
I really only logged on because I was so excited to see you on here posting. I am in the process of distressing a strap, lord help me. Dylan is GREAT!! We spend the entire day together and now Mom is reading to him. They grow up so fast, too fast. But everyday is a true joy!! What did lil bit get for his birthday?

That's great to here Daren!!
I'm so glad he's doing better :)
Man, I don't think I've even posted on the TZ OP forum in over a week! I just check my dive watch forum a couple of times a day and that's it. Guess I"m breaking the addiction. Let's see....he got some kinda learning table (it makes noises when he whacks it, lol) and he got this great stuffed monkey chair. He gives it big hugs !! And his brothers got him some DVDs and his uncle in UK got him some cool little books. He had a great day!! Plus his mum keeps buying him stuff..... I hope the strap survives :) Take care mate, Bruce |

Well he looks a stunner at one year old. Those young girls in England are going to have to watch themselves when that young handsome devil arrives. When you finally settle and I'm on holiday we must meet up somewhere.
Sorry to hear about your parents troubles, I hope everything turns out alright in the end.

Thanks Adrian!
Yeah the boy is a lady killer already too! Good thing he's a boy and not a girl, or I'd have to rethink my position on personal firearms for when the dating starts
Thanks for your thoughts about my parents. Funny how it's taken an act of nature to get them to come visit their grandchild! I'm really looking forward to this move. I'm a bit scared because I haven't a clue what I'm going to do for a living. I know what I want to do, just not sure if I can make a living at it. We'll definately have to meet up though. It's gonna be so fun to meet my forum friends over there! Cheers, Bruce |

Wish the little guy a happy birthday from me, too, Bruce. Sounds like you've got your hands full with all your house guests. Hope everyone survives to return home at some point.
And last I heard, they have some rudimentary internet service on the other side of the pond, so you should be able to keep in touch once you get there.

Hey Brucio, me Choina...
Glad to see you've 'come out of the closet' on this monumental decision. As said via email, I'm here for ya, whatever you need. Happy birthday to Joshy, who is totally your mini-me. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, eh? LOL Stick around here... if nothing else, where else can you make fun of a bald kiwi loon? |
