Submariner question

I am going to buy a submariner in gold/steel/blue.
I dont want the newest model. But is it possible to Get the "old" model with
the "rolex rolex rolex" text inside the ring?
What is the last series on this model? Z?

TT Sub Blue

I'm new at this but I'll take a shot with info.
I just purchased a M with the text inside. Not ceramic therefore
somewhat of a darker blue. I believe the Rolex internal text is on
some of the M's (later?) and all of the V's (newest?) - someone more knowledgeable should post and correct if I am mistaken.

Yup, you can get it for sure. Z then M then V. Get it while you can. Z is the oldest btw.

I have a Z serial blue TT Sub and there's no inscription on the rehaut so it looks like the engraving started late in the Z series.

The M series definitely has it but I'm not sure if there is a V series in that model - it could be that the V series starts with the ceramic version.

Some Z's have the RolexRolexRolex rehaut
All M's and V's have it.

That is the only difference besides age.

My Z has the engraved rehaut. I tend to see more without, however.
