Is this watch worth 4K?

Would you pay $4000 for this watch with no papers or box? or are they over rating their watch?

Pretty steep unless they can prove that it has had a recent (within the last 2 years) service from a Rolex Certified Watchmaker. Sure it has been refinished, but that does not replace a $600 service. I would think a couple hundred less, ESPECIALLY since it has no box/papers.

$3,700 might be fair, but the outside edges of the lugs are fairly rounded. It has definitely had a good (hard) polish.

That would leave you with $4,300 in it after a service......Not too bad of a price, but definitely not a stupendous deal.

When I buy a yellow DD even if it has a fake 18k braclet and it gets run over by a truck it is worth $1500.00 give or take a few hundred.
