Watch Cleaning
What's the best everyday houshold cleaning product to use on a watch?
Also, want a good and safe way to disinfect a pre-owened watch. Not interested in buffing or polishing. |

First time I've heard of blow drying it, but it sounds like a good idea!

I don't know about blow drying....better have the setting on cool air....& water spots??? what about water spots....I use 100% long staple Egyptian cotton towels, they work well....I use Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree liquid hand soap & Culligan softened water.....Brasso on damp Viva brand paper towls for polishing. Nothing's too good for my little babies.

I use liquid dishwashing detergent in a sink filled with water to clean my Rolex watches.

Watches, watches??? BAH HUMBUG!....they're more than watches...they're our little friends on our wrists....we spend a lot of money & time on them, they never let us down, make us happy, don't complain, are always up for a good time....our wives & girlfriends should be so good. Take care of your watches gentlemen.

Soap and water - whatever is in the dispenser (Softsoap, etc.). Just nothing abrasive. Good quality cotton towels should not scratch the watch.

if you take the bracelet off the case, throw it in an ultrasonic cleaner with some of the powder detergent. Works great!
