I have spread the disease!

My business partner always knew I had a couple of Rolex as I normally wear one on a daily basis. Over the past 3 years its gone from random comments like "you paid how much for a watch???" to "its quite nice actually" and then yesterday, without warning he asked me if he could buy one from me.

No attempt to sell on my part, its taken him 3 years of looking at them to realize he wants one! Amazing how peoples attitudes change.

On Monday he will be the proud owner of an Air King 14010. I just wonder how long it will be till he has 3 or 4

AK is a great place to start. He'll do more, especially if you turn him on to TRF!!

3 years?! It took him long enough!

Now if you can tune him into TRF, he can make up for lost time!

He has probably been working on his wife for 3 years to convince her it is a good investment.

So you've made him Of the Bug. It's only the beginning, especially if he has a few dollars laying about. He starts talking about everose Daytonas and whatnot, you'll be in a buying war. Cool. Let it play out here so we can all watch from the stands.

I would not exactly call it disease, but more of a passion for quality appreciation.

Took the dopey bugger nearly 3 years to learn how to tell the time!! Its like watching a monkey taking peanuts out of a jar sometimes.. LOL, but he has his uses. He is already talking about the "next one", sure he will be a member here soon.

In the meantime I need to find a new daily wear watch. I am feeling a bit naked at the moment.

Collecting watches is contagious and highly addictive. You have been warned!
