No papers

How does this affect servicing at the RSC? I know the warranty only lasts for two years, so after those two years, are papers essentially existent for authentication purposes and unnecessary for RSC servicing?

After the warranty has expired the papers are no longer needed to service.

All they need are the "Green Papers".

Papers don't really authenticate a watch, and yes you don't need them for non warranty service at a RSC.

Isn't that what we all need?

After the warranty expires in 2 years, the original papers are useless from a servicing point of view. People keep them, however, because it makes the watch 'complete' from a collection stand point.

IMO after 2 years, the papers of greater value should be the RSC service papers.

... and it seems like every time you get a quote, they demand a few more green papers!
