Question about Rolex durability

I know, I know, these things are tanks, I get it.

However, I play guitar for several hours every day, and I'm usually pretty aggressive and heavy handed with it. My left hand goes all over the neck in very quick, hard motions. I don't slam my fretting hand against anything, but if I wore a watch on that hand, it would be put through lots of these extremely forceful go-stop-go movements on a daily basis.

Do you think I should be concerned at all about putting a Submariner through this kind of use every day? I mean, normally I would assume Rolex's can go through most things a person would put them through, but I would consider "aggressive guitar playing" slightly on the outer limits of what would constitute "normal, everyday watch-wearing situations."

If it worries you--just take it off while you play. I do not see that harming the watch though anyway. Rolexes are quite durable and one of the best everyday watches made!!

I doubt you will damage it.

On the plus side, it will certainly stay wound!

I think nothing damages except the scratch.

Seems to be okay for Eric Clapton and John Mayer - of course they aren't exactly thrashing around playing speed metal but I think they both move pretty quickly. I think you'd be fine.

Lots of people wear watches while playing guitar. It's not going to hurt it.

What I do in landscaping makes your guitar playing look like needle-pointing, and it doesn't affect my Rolexes!

Cool. Thanks for the reassurance, guys. Looks like I won't have to worry about messing up the new SS Sub after all!

This watch is amazing, by the way. Definitely a grail watch for me. Glad I finally got one! :)

if you drop it there is a .95% the bezel will pop out, or a 16.3456% the crystal will crack, but I think it would be able to withstand guitar playing..
