Try getting a deal at the end of the month. If a dealer has had a bad month or is near to a bonus threashold he may be more inclined to discount.

I do this when I buy cars also.

It seems to work for me.

Many years ago, we looked into buying a watch there and the offered discount was modest, to say the least.

Once again the rumor was that ADs in Massachusetts got tired of hearing that "Grays was cheaper" and complained to Rolex and had their AD pulled.
