Are you in Texas? In my opinion, you should buy out of state because they will always wave the sales tax for out of state purchases.

If tugboat lives in state, there is NO WAY the AD will wave the sales tax, especially when our sales tax here in Texas is 8.25%.

Or ship out of state and waive it that way.

uracowman, yes! I'm living in lone star state (Houston, Texas).

Considering 8.25% of 16% off MSRP steelmodel, it is approx. $490.

My understanding, in case i want to eliminate $490, i have to buy it out side Texas with the same discount, is it correct?

Or, I have to ask AD in Houston ship it out Texas to temporary place and bring it back, in this case is there any way to make it less than $490?

I would recommend purchasing from an out of state AD. You can get that same 15% off with no sales tax. I planned on buying my diamond dial datejust in state but then I found a deal with a larger discount and no sales tax. Cheapest deal I found in state was $7200 with sales tax.
