I think S or W serial would be appropriate for that time frame, V is the current series. Possibly misreading a W. Love the spelling in the ad- not. Can't tell much from one small photo.

I would be steering clear of this one, info cut and paste from a number of sources, I'd love to see that cert a bit closer :-)
