Yachtmaster price and origin question
Hi , looking at a Yachtmaster 16622 , and here are some real examples - would appreciate your comments ( I am not decided whether the difference in price is enough for a used model )
New watch - GBP 5000 ( USD 7500 ) Used watches - GBP 4000 ( USD 6000 ) , there are 2 available , either a 2008 originally sourced in the Far East , or a 2004 model from UK. 1) Do you think the price of the new or the used is " better "? 2 ) Does the country of origin make a difference ( the shop says that the diff in price is just to different sellers asking different amounts )? Thanks as always |

This is a question that often comes up on this forum.
If you have the extra 1500 USD... go for the new... you will get everything that comes along with a brand new Rolex... box paper, tags, and most importantly the "buying" experience. Just remember as soon as you buy that new Yatchmaster... its probably going to be worth as much as the used one... assuming everything else being consistent... comes with box and paper... close serial number. At the end of the day... no one will know if you bought it new or used, but I am certain that your wallet can feel the difference. Thats why we have supporters on both end of the deal. I personally will go for the used one... bec of the less hit that I will take, in case I need to sell it or flip it. Good luck to you... |
