1970'2 Rolex is speeding up -
My 1970's Rolex is speeding up - its an Oyster - its been refurbished, the stem does not screw on tight. I only wear it once or twice every 6 months - and I noticed it sticking about 6 months ago. Any idea what may be wrong with it - or any idea what a repair cost would be????
thanks Jix |

When a Rolex watch goes into servicing, a new Case Tube is installed with a new Crown so the watch will become water proof again. Without the watch being water proof it will attract moisture as well as the elements in the air. You need to have that repaired immediately before the movement becomes damaged.
