Yeah ..seems long. I am lucky to have more then one AD in my town.
The first AD said the words "Waiting list" so I went to another and walked out with my Sub date. |

That's pretty odd for a SS Subdate... usually the ADs around here have at least one on display each time I drop in.
Must be a popular watch in NY.

I put my name down for a SS Daytona about four years ago and I'm still waiting.

Call me crazy but... it would seem prudent for Rolex to respond to this ongoing and growing gap in supply and bolster their production of the SS Daytona. They certainly have the resources to do so. A watch not sold is money lost, right?

A year and a half for the SS Daytona, and four months for the first LV.

Sounds like the last 10 days of my 1st pregnancy! I didn't have to special order my watch, but I new I was getting it in July of '06 and it took until January of '07 to find the right one and get it on my wrist.
Hope your wait is over soon.

I first fell in love with Rolex's when I was a young man. It took 27 years after that to purchase my first one.

When I went in to buy my SS Sub-date last year, my AD laid out FIVE pieces for me.
"Take your pic, JJ," he said....and don't rush over it!!

I know the initial post was about waiting after the watch had been ordered, but it soon became "how long have you waited before actually BUYING one?"

I don't wait for anything :)
Those are wait times via shipping and or jeweller getting it from the safe. The only watches I can think of waiting for (years) and still waiting for are Orange hand Red Sub PP Chrono Nautilus Daytona WG Other than that if I really wanted a watch id buy it. |

Worth the wait.

Don't Wait Any Longer
Treat yourself to a trip to Singapore and buy it the day you land. I bought my Rolex there and they had multiples of every model. Beautiful place to see too!!
