seiko sportura - winder

hi
does anyone have a seiko sportura kinetic auto relay or similar?

i recently got one - an excellent watch !

but i find that when 'screwing in ' the winder after changing the date or setting the time, i need about 3 to 4 attempts in order to get the threads to synchornise and to get the winder to 'screw' in smoothly
i have other watches that have such screw in winders and have not faced this problem before

does this sound familiar or does my watch have a flaw?

thanks
