My first Rolex, an Air King I bought at an AD who had a Rolex club, pick out a watch sign your name and walk out wearing the watch. They took the price of the watch plus tax and divided by 12 for the monthly payment no interest. The next three I paid cash, I found AD like the green and would discount big unfortunately he lost his dealership. My recent purchase another sub 16613 in black I tried to use my debit card but it had a 3000.00 limit so it end up on the credit card. It was at the same AD that had the club. When the dealer put my name in the computer for the warranty he said I see you bought Rolex from us in 1979, I was still on the books.

Cash for some, credit for others. I prefer credit to accumulate the airmiles, but some sellers will charge a premium, so cash it is.

I got a good deal on my watch for paying cash only, so I did.
Funny, the bank was not expecting us to make such a large withdrawal on one day, and they almost didn't have enough cash on hand. This was a rather large "chain" bank in Beverly Hills. |

>I used a CC, bu then paid it off with the first bill.<
Same here. I do not, nor will I, ever understand people that buy high-end items on credit cards and pay 19% interest for several months. Sure, maybe it might take a little more than 30 days if an unforseen expense happens, but if you cannot afford a high ticket item, save until you can. Mark |
