Sizing a Rolex - removing 1 link - which side??
I need to remove 1 link from my SS Daytona, which has 5 links on the 6 o'clock side and 7 links on the 12 o'clock side. Conventional wisdom would tell me to remove 1 link from the 12 o'clock side, but I seem to remember reading a post a while ago that would say differently.
Any thoughts from the Rolex experts out there? |

Remove it from the 6 o'clock side and see how it rests on your wrist.

How large is your wrist?
I have a 7.25" wrist and I have 1 link removed from the 6 o'clock side, and the clasp is dead on centered.

6 oclock. It's the way the human wrist is shaped.

Remove the link that best keeps the clasp centered. But first, check to see if an adjustment within the clasp can be done, to avoid removing a link.
