16610 lv???
Hello all. There is any policy by Rolex at the AD when a customer ask for bezel change green for black? Im planning to get a 16610 LV. What can I expect from the sales man at the AD? Thank You.

All depends on the watchmaker generally the answer is no. They will replace an aftermarket bezel with the original most of the time.

I haven't had any success asking an AD to do the swap, but there are a some good people on this forum that will be happy to get you an authentic black bezel. There is also a threat I think Tools posted that will show you how to swap the bezel yourself. Hope that helps.

Every AD is different, all you can do is ask and hope they will do it for you.

My AD inCanada says they are allowed to swap a green for a black but not a black for a green.

all of my ad's said no way! even the ad i buy alot from... the watch makers always say the same thing..
"this black bezel is not meant for a LV, if rolex finds out i could have my parts account pulled..." so anyways, in the end i had to ask an old friend who is a watch repair man for the black insert which was brand new... i think it might have been old stock because the font on the numbers change from time to time... from thin to bold or to bold to thin.. its weird.. mine a a touch thinner than the new ones.. just like my vintage replacment bezel the font was thinner than the orginal fat font insert |
