I don't know how to copy and paste a thread, so I'll just give you the Thread Title: Etched Crown.

I started a topic on this last week and got excellent responses. Do a search for it.

Just click on the earth & paperclip symbol ("Insert link") under the smiley face....A pop up appears, and you can copy & paste the URL....

Indeed it is a bit of a bast.. to spot it on a SDDS , I spent hours on mine before seeing it . I challenge you to spot it on a Milgauss GV .

Helps if you take a strong light, angle approximately 10° to the face and then look using a loop. I just took my DSSD, placed flashlight on edge of table, and rocked my DSSD slowly back and forth looking through a loop. When you hit the right angle, the etching will refract the light and jump out.

I had to use a 10x jewelry lope to see mine - it was worth it.

That is just cruel (smile). I have a lot of trouble seeing the etching on my white Mill. Old eyes, I suppose.

Here dweb, pretend this is yours. It'll save some strain on your peepers.

I couldn't find mine until I got a 10X loupe and a strong light source such as a LED flashlight.

I had to use natural sunlight and a magnifying glass to find mine; every once in a while I'll check it to make sure it's still there!
