Plan for my collection for now.
I started with a plan of collecting GMTs. It went out the window when I saw the GV. Therefore I came up with a new blueprint for my collection. Ignoring non sport watches, DJ's etc and other brands, here is what I am thinking; I am going to collect a current model to complement a previous model.
Here is where I stand on the keepers, all SS: GMT II Pepsi - GMT II c EXP II Black - Hurry up Basel 2011 SUB Date - Come on August GV - Looking for a 6451 or 1019 I love each of these and can part with the others to make room. I may even add SD/SDDS. Anyone else have a collection following a similar plan?

Having a direction lends focus to any collection. Mine's not far from yours. I just went a bit further back.
Having an icon is fun too. |

I sold this:
I have these: I am targeting a DateJust and Explorer II. Later down the road if I'm lucky, a Day-Date. Cheers! |

I'm getting a current version of Martin Skeet's "Vintage Rolex Sports Models".
So far I still need to get a Milgauss and a Daytona since the TOG is no longer a sport model (IMO) but rather a modified DJ.
