Think the DSSD is heavy, try having to wearing it on your other wrist!
I am loving my new DSSD however 5 days after getting it I fell while on a 15 mile run and sprained my (Rolex) wrist. Now, at least temporarily, I am forced to wear my DSSD on my "other" wrist which isn't used to wearing any watch let alone a DSSD. I was just getting used to the size/weight of this great watch, now I really notice just how HEAVY this watch truly is. I still love this watch!!!

I hadn't ever considered what I'd do if I was unable to wear my DSSD on my left wrist. But in the end I suspect I would do the same as you. Hope you heal quickly!

As long as you didn't sprain it due to the weight of the watch--that wouldn't have been good! Great looking watch--congrats and heal up!!!

Ouch! Heel quickly.
Isn't it funny how a watch feels so totally different on the other wrist? I noticed it with any watch I've worn on the other side. |

I like it with the diver extension on the brace. You'll have plenty of nosy people asking about your watch, and not your wrist.

You know - mine rarely comes off my wrist and I don't get the 'wrist fatigue' at all!

It's due to the weight that I am considering moving mine on! It's a shame as it is a work of art - A true piece of micro-engineering. The trouble is it sits so heavy on the wrist that it moves around easily and with the size of the wrist altering depending on heat etc throughout the day it can be a real pain. It's one saving grace is the glide lock clasp which you will use on a very regular basis! Lucky it's made sooooo well!

I tried on the DSSD and it is way too heavy for my 6.5 wrist. I even feel the ss gmt2c heavier than the SS sub.

I like heavier watch and I won't complain... I like DSSD, but chose GMT ii and Sub because it looks better on my small wrist.

Am i right to say that the SD is not as heavy as the DSSD since SD is a size 40 and DSSD is a 43?
